Strong Leaders Are One Step Ahead

To be successful in network marketing, you must be be a leader.

To be a leader, you must have followers. For you to lead, somebody has to follow you. To have anyone follow you, they must SEE you as a leader. Others have to picture you as the person who can lead them from nowhere into the promised land.

And why would anyone follow YOU, you ask? It's simple. You attract them because you believe in something. You are passionate. Your enthusiasm stokes their inner fire. Since you are a passionate, enthusiastic believer, that puts you way ahead of everyone else. Does it make sense that a passionate, enthusiastic belief can make the difference? Then you can be an MLM wizard. You have personalized the first part of the "MLM Wizard Formula".

Maybe you find yourself doubting whether you can be that leader. I understand. If you stumble in the dark looking for the right path, how can you show it to others? The truth is, you are very, very close to being able to show that path to others ... even if you aren't quite sure of the footing yourself. You just need a few skills (and, of course, total belief).

If you are coachable, and if you are willing to learn the skills, then YOU can become the big honcho in your chosen MLM niche. YOU can be the hero or heroine, the one people turn to when they can't do it themselves. YOU can be The Wizard of Oz for some group of people whose future depends on finding a model they can trust and follow. If your goal is to achieve success in network marketing, then you MUST become that strong leader.

Here's a puzzle for you: To be financially successful, you must be a leader. A leader must must have followers. People will only follow you if they see in you an unwavering belief that you can help them be successful. You have to dig down to develop that believe and work to get rid
of your inner doubt and conflicts.

And THERE is the problem.

You've gotten used to and become comfortable with some negative belief. In a way, it's benefitting you, and probably at the expense of a lot of other people. At the same time, there's a fight for your soul, a battle you can never win. And so long as that war goes on, it's pretty darned hard for you to get gung-ho about anything. What do you do to take advantage
of the good, pure belief you really need in order to lead a large group to network marketing success? Believe it or not, it's simple.

In that moment, you figured you were on the fast track to financial freedom, to giving your family everything they so richly deserved. But then, over time, it went very, very wrong.

Instead of tremendous profits, you got wild losses. You believed it would work, so you spent money you couldn't afford to lose. You made credit card charges that will take months or years to repay. You set out to provide better for your family, and you wound up with certain family members laughing at you behind your back. Worst of all, you now doubt that you could ever be successful at your own business.

MLM Compensation Plan Correction

According to industry reports, an MLM company corrected its compensation plan this week.

Corrections are good, right? Something is wrong and it gets fixed. Problem solved.

But wait a minute.

The fix involved eliminating part of the pay at the lower end of the pay plan. The lower end! That is the area where most people start. The place where the stay at home mom, retiree, and underemployed count on supplementing the family’s income. Take away part of their income? What is correct about that?

Would your MLM company do that to you? How sure are you that they would not?

I hope it does not happen to anyone reading this, but if you are not working with a 5 Pillars company, it could.

2 Qualities Essential to Reach Network Marketing Goals

To reach your MLM goals, your life must be a delicate balance ofpatience and urgency. You must have patience to achieve the best results, but you must always act with urgency. There is always a learning curve, whenever you start a new venture. So you must choose well and know you are in the right place with the right opportunity.

That belief allows you to have patience as you learn the ropes. And remember - you can't just sit around and say, "Well, this will all work out in time." You have to actively pursue your goals at all times, and continually urge your team to do the same.

Most MLMers are used to working for a living and building someoneelse's business. They still have a boss, and they do what they're told. Nothing wrong with that ... but that isn't the way network marketing works. YOU are the boss, and you get up in the morning and decide whether to work your business or to watch the 42nd re-run of Gilligan's Island. Guess which choice most people make?

And they grab the remote control because there is no sense of urgency. If they had a wildly burning desire to achieve goals right NOW, they wouldn't even think about the TV. They'd just go to work. THAT is the urgency people must have.

This isn't just for yourself. You need to do it for your team, because they need a model of urgency and patience. Share your goals and long-term plan to achieve them - as a model for them. Share yourday-to-day urgency, and how it affects every action you take. We all have bad habits that sabotage success, and the best tool I've found to get rid of them is "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson.

Olson shows how in just a couple minutes a day, you can make time your friend, not your enemy. When you consistently do the right things in your MLM business, time works in your favor. And the more bad habits you get rid of, the easier it will be to act with urgency on the points crucial to your success. And THAT is how you can get the result you want.

MLM Success Will Always Depend on Relationships

There's an ad that runs a lot online. You see it everywhere. It tellsyou, "Put another 20 to 30 people a week to your team." When you talk to them, they charge a LOT of money for their MLM training system. But if your team was growing like that, it would be worth it, right? Somepeople find the offer irresistible.

But before you plunk down the dough, ask one question: "How about wetalk to the all the guys you added to your team in the last month." What do they say?. How long have you been telling others about yourbusiness? Do you sincerely believe there are a ton of MLMers building at warp speed? I bet you won't actually talk to anybody who joined this guy recently ... or ever. Why do you think that is?

You can get blinded by all the dazzling gadgets these days, but the fact is, MLM success will always depend on relationships. Any automatic or mechanical system won't stand the test of time. It takes humans to make network marketing successful, because people want to know someone real is there to help them.

There are plenty of people out there who think everything has changed with the internet, that you can just click a mouse and never talk to anyone and build your business. It's absolutely not true.
